Dennis Mutuku’s life took a awful turn when he lost his mother shortly after the birth of his youngest sibling. The pain of losing a parent was compounded by the subsequent abandonment by his father, leaving Dennis and his four siblings orphaned.

Faced with immense challenges, the family found solace in the care of their aunt, a woman struggling with health issues and limited financial resources. Despite her best efforts, she couldn’t fully provide for the children’s needs, especially their education.

A glimmer of hope emerged when the Charles Musyoka Matuku Foundation learned of their plight. Moved by their story, the foundation extended a helping hand, enrolling all five children into its education sponsorship program.

This year, Dennis, the eldest, marked a significant milestone by joining Nzambani Boys High School as a freshman. With the foundation’s unwavering support, he is now poised to pursue his dreams and build a brighter future.
